The patient app

The app your GLP-1 patients open every week.

Under your clinic's name, in the browser or in a native app: a patient logs the week's dose, watches their weight move, reorders before the supply runs out and messages your team. Here is what they see, week by week.

Why an app

What changes when the program lives in an app

A week in the app

What does a week look like for a patient?

A patient on a weekly dose, with semaglutide or tirzepatide in your catalog as the example. The same screens work for any product with a dosing schedule.

The day before: a reminder

The app reminds them a dose is due tomorrow. On the web portal that is an email from your clinic's template; in the native app it is a push as well. The push says a dose is due and nothing else. The details stay inside the app.

Dose day: log it

The Track tab shows the week, the next dose, doses this week and adherence. Logging takes a few taps; on Growth and up the sheet suggests the injection site that has rested longest and takes side effects and a note on the same entry. If they forget, an email the next day asks whether they took it.

Mid-week: a weigh-in

One number updates the chart, the goal percentage and the total change since they started. First entry, weigh-in streaks and weight milestones are recorded as achievements they can see. The native app sends a weigh-in reminder on Sunday.

Any day: a question

The chat bubble opens a thread with your team. You answer from the dashboard inbox, or from HighLevel Conversations if it is connected, and the patient gets an email that a reply is waiting.

Running low: the reorder

About ten days before the supply runs out, the app reminds them. The reorder card on the home screen shows where they are in the supply and puts the same product and dose in the cart with the card on file.

The order, tracked to the door

The order waits for your approval, then shows each status with the carrier, tracking number and estimated delivery. When it is delivered, the treatment and the supply countdown start again on their own.

Inside the app

What is in the GLP-1 patient app?

Eight parts, under your name, colors and logo.

1

Dose tracking

A week strip with the next dose, doses this week, total doses and an adherence percentage. A delivered order for a dosed product creates the treatment in the app, so there is nothing for the patient to set up.

2

Dose calculator

For a product sold as a vial, you set the vial size and the water volume. The patient adjusts their dose and sees the units to draw on a U-100 syringe, with a warning if it is more than one syringe. The guide you write for the product (storage, technique, what to expect) sits in the app beside it. Growth and up.

3

Injection site map and side effects

A body map that suggests the site that has rested longest, with side effects and a note tagged on the dose entry. A Symptoms tab takes a fuller check-in; a moderate or severe answer emails your team to review. Growth and up.

4

Weight and goal

Current weight, goal progress as a percentage, starting weight and total change, on a chart with the goal line. Milestones for streaks, weight and goal progress are recorded as achievements.

5

Progress photos

From the camera or the library, with a compare mode that puts two photos side by side. Photos sit in private storage and load through short-lived links. Your team sees them blurred until someone clicks to reveal, and opening the record is logged.

6

Reorders and order tracking

A reorder card with the supply position and one tap to buy the same product and dose. Every paid order lands in your queue as Awaiting review, then shows approved, shipped and delivered, with carrier tracking and an email at each step.

7

Messaging

A chat bubble on every screen of the app. Messages land in your dashboard inbox, or in HighLevel Conversations when it is connected. The patient is emailed when you reply, and the message text stays in the portal.

8

Rewards and referrals

Store credit by the rules you set: a streak reached, dollars spent, a signup, a birthday or a friend's first order. Credit comes off the next order at checkout. Each patient has a referral link to share from the app.

Progress

Weight, goal and chart on one screen

The Weight tab shows the number that matters today and the line that got them there. Current weight, the goal and the percentage of the way there, the starting weight and the total change, then the chart with the goal drawn on it. On a desktop browser the same screen opens with the clinic's sidebar; on a phone it is the Track tab.

For the clinic

What does the clinic see from the app?

Everything a patient logs lands on their record in your dashboard, and the things that go wrong are turned into a list and, if you use HighLevel, into workflow triggers. You read the record; you do not chase the data.

Adherence on the record

Open a patient and you see the last 12 weeks of doses, completed against skipped, with an adherence percentage and the last dose. Below it: weight over time against goal, intake answers, orders, and progress photos blurred until revealed.

At-risk flags, with the reason

The At-risk view lists real patients, most urgent first, with why: no completed dose in two weeks, adherence in the last 30 days down to half of the month before or repeated skips, a supply that ran out without a reorder, or the app not opened in a month. It is your call list, with email, text or call from the row. See the patient record and at-risk patients.

HighLevel triggers from the app

With HighLevel connected, a dose that passed yesterday without being logged fires injection_missed, checked daily. A patient with three or more logged doses who falls to a zero-week streak fires streak_broken, once per patient per week. Order status changes and achievements fire too. You build the SMS, the task or the campaign in HighLevel on those events.

Custom fields on the contact

After a dose or weigh-in is logged, the contact's custom fields update: total shots, streak in weeks, last injection date, last weight and shots in the last 30 days. Smart lists and workflows can segment on them without touching the dashboard.

The contact panel

Inside HighLevel, a panel beside the contact shows the patient's orders, tracking, adherence and treatments. Your team can approve, ship and add tracking from there. See connecting HighLevel.

Check-ins that reach you

A moderate or severe symptom entry emails your team with the symptom and the severity, once per entry, and fires a provider-review trigger if HighLevel is connected. Mild entries stay on the record for the next visit.

Web and native

Do patients need a native app?

No. The web app is on every plan and runs in the phone's browser at your address. The native app is the Signature plan. Both read from the same account and show the same screens, so a patient can use the web app on a laptop and the native app on their phone.

1

Web app, on every plan

Runs in any phone, tablet or desktop browser at yourclinic.clinicbond.com, or your own domain on Growth and up. Nothing to install: the invite link opens it, and patients can add it to the home screen. Reminders arrive by email from your clinic's templates. Sign-in is email and password.

2

Native iOS and Android app, on Signature

Published in the App Store and Google Play under your name and your developer accounts; we handle the builds, store review and updates. Reminders arrive as push notifications as well as email, and patients can turn on Face ID or fingerprint unlock. The Signature plan carries a one-time launch fee for the app.

Questions

What clinics ask about the patient app

Is there an iOS and Android app?

Yes, on the Signature plan: a native iOS and Android app published under your brand and your developer accounts, and we handle the builds, store review and updates. On Starter and Growth the app is a web app that runs in the phone's browser at your address, with the same screens.

Does the patient need to install anything?

No. The invite you send by email or text opens the web app at your clinic's address; the patient claims their account and is in. They can add it to the phone's home screen like an app. The native app on Signature is a download from the stores, and it is optional.

Can patients reorder from the app?

Yes. The home screen carries a reorder card with the supply position and one tap to buy the same product and dose with the card on file, and the app reminds them about ten days before the supply runs out and again when it does. For a product that needs your approval and comes in several strengths, the app only sells the strength the patient is on or one step either side; anything else opens a message to your clinic instead of a cart.

Who reviews orders?

Your team. A paid order waits as Awaiting review until someone with a dashboard login approves it; nothing ships on its own. A product you mark as requiring a prescription tells the patient that a provider reviews every order, and the approval is written to the order's history with who made it and when.

Is patient data secure?

The app runs on HIPAA-eligible AWS services under a Business Associate Agreement, with records in a dedicated MongoDB Atlas cluster on the tier that supports one, and a BAA with your clinic is signed at signup on every plan. Dose notes, injection sites, side effects, weight notes and photo notes are encrypted at the field level with AES-256-GCM, traffic is TLS, and photos sit in private storage behind short-lived links. Opening a patient record is written to an audit log, and your team can turn on two-factor sign-in.

Does it work without HighLevel?

Yes. Messaging, reminders, the at-risk list, orders, rewards and the patient record are all built in, and nothing on this page needs a CRM connected. Connecting HighLevel adds the contact sync, the panel beside each contact, the workflow triggers and the custom fields described above.
